B.T.S. or The Bachelor in Tourism Studies is a Travel and Tourism Undergraduate program. Tourism Studies include the study of tourism management, growth of tourism, tourism marketing, transport, hotel management, etc. The course covers primarily the study of topics such as tourist resort planning, management of food services, ecology, climate and tourism, intercultural communication, etc. The course has tremendous significance and relevance in the times of today as tourism has become the center of every country’s economic growth. Graduates of this course find many jobs in India as well as outside of it. They should go for a Master’s Degree for teaching purposes.
